PRELIMINARY INFORMATION ABOUT TWC 2014 TAIPEI
Dear Renju friends:
Taiwan will be the host of 2014's TWC (Renju Team World Championship) event, and it is also the first international tournament being held in Taiwan! Preparations for the event are well in progress and now I am pleased to send this newsletter with preliminary and basic information. More information will follow as we get closer to the event.
Here is the current schedule for the event:
-Apr. 27th, 2014 Arriving for players and ceremony at the evening
-Apr. 28th, 2014 - May 3rd, 2014 TWC main tournament(Here's a break time on Apr. 30th after 1:30 p.m.)
-May 3rd, 2014 RIF meeting in the afternoon and Closing Ceremony in the evening
The tournament hall and accomodation are both located at Beitou Resort, Beitou, Taipei. Beitou Resort is located very near MRT Fuxinggang Station and thus it is convenient in many ways. Besides, there are several recreation service here (swimming pool, gymnasium, basketball court, kid's playroom...etc). For more information: http://btresort.trtc.com.tw/main.aspx
The tournament regulation depends on "Tournament Rules in International Championships : 4-5 Team World Championships (TWC)" by RIF Sports Commission.
We wish to invite all renju countries to participate this event and we hope we can offer you an exciting renju experience in Taipei! Please let us know if you are interested in this event and please also let us know your team member and company in detail as soon as possible.
